Two or three months ago, a fellow Psypokes member (sorry, I've forgotten your name) posted a link to a video on Youtube that was, basically, two guys playing through a Vietnamese version of Pokemon Crystal, and laughing at all the hilarious things in it. This got me into a little bit of a trend. Since then, I've watched all the Vietnamese Crystal videos that they made, and all the videos of other games. I've found myself a couple of other Youtube channels that do similar videos, for all sorts of games. If you manage to find yourself a channel that's hilarious, then all the better, but some are purely factual, and serve as online video walkthroughs or guides. Personally, I prefer the funnier ones.

As with most Youtube channels, these guys are completely non-profit and do this out of their own spare time. I'm not trying to advertise or anything, but they aim purely to entertain their audience, and any likes, comments and subscriptions really help them out.

So I was wondering, how many other Psypoke members are fans of Let's Plays; be they about Pokemon, or any other game out there?

Here's a quick list of my favourite channels:

http://www.youtube.com/user/OdysseyGamez?feature=g-u OdysseyGamez - 4 or 5 guys from Britain, making videos about games like Terraria and Minecraft. Some factual videos, some hilarious videos. They also do the odd multiplayer/versus/whatever of a completely random game as well (such as Left 4 Dead, Dungeon Defenders, etc).

http://www.youtube.com/user/DeliciousCinnamon?blend=1&ob=video-mustangbase DeliciousCinnamon - 4 or 5 guys from America, who found their fame with Vietnamese Crystal. Since then, they've done little videos of Superman 64, Terraria (where they did a joint video with OdysseyGamez!), Dead Space and Grand Theft Auto.

http://www.youtube.com/user/ThePaleComet?blend=1&ob=video-mustangbase ThePaleComet - Don't know much about these guys, as they only started today! The one video that they do have online features a guy from Britain, starting a game of Pokemon Leaf Green. From what I've seen so far I'm looking foward to what these guys can throw out there, and I suspect they can pull off some great things.

Found a few more of my favourite channels:

http://www.youtube.com/user/VerbalProcessing?feature=g-u VerbalProcessing - This guy has an AMAZING voice. You know, the kind that's just perfect for radio or videos like these? He does all sorts of games, including Terraria, Minecraft, Minicraft, etc.

http://www.youtube.com/user/HERO?feature=g-user-shu HERO - He practically owns Terraria. If there's anything that needs to be done, he can do it. If there's a boss that needs soloing, he's the guy. Also does quite a bit on Minecraft.

http://www.youtube.com/user/AwesomeSauceFilms?feature=g-user-u AwesomeSauceFilms - These guys cover pretty much all genres of game. There are just hundreds of videos. However, they claim to specialise in CoD: MW3.

http://www.youtube.com/user/XenoNTributE XenoNTributE - I actually subscribed to this guy before I even found out that I sort of knew him! He does great Pokemon wifi battle videos, and is always looking for new battlers. It wouldn't surprise me if he had an account on here.

Enjoy!

Found another Let's Play channel for you guys to skim through:

http://www.youtube.com/user/iDubzInk?feature=g-u-u iDubzInk - Dubs, who runs the channel, is one of the members of the previously mentioned DeliciousCinnamon, and this is his sort of spin-off channel. He's done videos on Amnesia and the mod Nightmare House 2, which both make for excellent entertainment, as they scream continuously.

Oh, and I think I deserve a pat on the back for my prediction on the first post! I said something about the guys at ThePaleComet being new, but feeling good things about their potential. Well, I think I was right! Around ten videos in what must have been just over a week is pretty good word for a brand new channel, and the videos just get funnier and funnier. They have two series running now; one about Pokemon Leaf Green, and the other about HeartGold.
For those too lazy to scroll up, here's their link: http://www.youtube.com/user/ThePaleComet?feature=mhee

Enjoy!
