The way to do it, is to make a list of 492 Pokemon. Once you're done, who did you forget?

There's a handful I almost always forget, many are in the 2nd dex as I started with FireRed then on to Sinnoh (Pearl) and only later started working through RSE

but I have to say the one I tend to forget most is the one that slots in between the Espeon/Umbreon, Murkrow/Misdreavus/Unkown region of the dex... think it's Slowking? the hole in my dex used to bug me no end when I didn't have psypokes to refer to

Ok...first of all, for all you people trying to somehow discredit people who say such and such if THEIR most forgettable pokemon with some nonsense about the show, the news, the TGC, WHATEVER, stop it.

I don't give a flying rattata's butt that Heracross was turned into a McDonald's toy, or was in the show.

Um... some of us don't watch show, and I never once saw a Heracross McDonald's toy, or any other heracross toy, but even if I did, that's not the point of this topic.

He forgets it, you don't.

Anyways, most forgettable for me would definitely be Sentret/Furret. I had completely forgotten about them until about a week ago when I found my old G/S guide book. Kind of weird too because I think Furret is pretty cool.

Um, excuse me, I mentioned things like the news and the TCG because somebody actually said Porygon was the most forgettable Pokemon when it clearly isn't. And if you read his actual replies to me, he seemed unable to grasp the concept of what "forgettable" met because he was talking about how "infamous" Porygon is and about how "you can't go buy Porygon cards in the stores" DUE to the infamous event. If something is infamous, it is not forgettable. And if it gets tons of media exposure due to being the center of the most controversial moment in the entire franchise, it is also not forgettable.

I'll go ahead and admit error on this one. Somehow I missed one of his replies.. my apologies Frost.

the one that always got me was omanyte granted i think it was be cause he is so close to aerodactyl in the pokedex that i shunned it out

Unfortunately everyone forgets the awesome Johto Pokemon.

I'd have to say Mawile. No evolutions, no good stats, no unique movepool. Sorry Mawile.

The last time I played through Diamond, I was completling the Sinnoh Dex and I realized i was missing three pokemon and couldn't figure out for the life of me who they were, so I will grant those three the honor of most forgettable:

Finnieon
Lumineon
Unown

I probably spelled the first two wrong. Also, yes I know there was a movie called "Spell of the Unown." I never watched it, in fact, I happen to dislike all the movies and make a point of shuting them out, so Unown's not memorable to me. Plus I never went to the Ruins of Alph or wherever you get them in FRLG. Can they even be found in DPP?

Obviously they can be found, or else they wouldn't be part of the Sinnoh Dex. Ruins of Alph is where you found them in GSC, by the way. You found them in the Tanuki Ruins or some crap like that in FRLG.

Unown isn't forgettable to me, but for all the WRONG reasons. I'm still traumatized from the time that I got an Unown I card as my rare and the same Unown I card was also my reverse holo in a TCG booster pack a few months ago. *shudder*

What were those cards like?

I'd have to say . It just doesn't seem to be the type of pokemon I'd want to remember.

Hell, the only pokemon that even compare to how unforgettable porygon is are pikachu and mudkip! I'm sure at least 100 people just went "WHAT THE HELL IS A PIKACHU DUDE YOU GOT THE WRONG GAME!" because he is that forgettable, and porygon is still even more forgettable then that!! LERN UR FAXT FROST SRS!



Seriously though, Delibird tops the list of forgettable pokemon for me. I completely forgot he even existed until I came here and seen someone mention him as theirs.

Anyway, I'd have to say Carnivine and Dunsparce are extremely forgettable. Stantler's cool, I liked him. Hm. I can understand Snubbul being forgettable, but he was in the first movie, so I'd have to say Granbull as well. Finneon and Lumineon are VERY forgettable. Can't think of any others, though.

Ooh. Forgot/remembered one. Lapras. Dunno why it's so forgettable.

I never ever could remember the existences of: and all those other LGFR exclusives. Neither could I remember Barboach or Whiscash.

I never really play my Diamond (lack of DS to play it with and as such, frequently forget the existence of every pokemon from it), so I torment my Fire Red instead. Let's see how many weird Pokemon I can clobber the Elite Four with! And I never felt like hunting down those blasted FR only Pokemon for Emerald's national dex, the holes in it were less damaging then the sheer horror of hunting down that stupid Quilfish.

The second paragraph probably completely makes my first seem not true, even they somehow are.
