I caught a Gastly at level 16 in Lavender Town, in the Tower. I got it up to level 27 before I grew fustrated. When does Gastly learn hypnosis? Is there a certain level you should catch it at, so it can learn it? (Checked the psydex, too) |

Hypnosis is gastly´s first move, so at level 16 it already forgot it, you have to use the move tutor or breed in order to get a gastly with that move. |

Why would you want hypnosis it has 55 accuracy. |

That combo doesn't work if it had the accuracy of spore it would be the best combo ever. |

Well maybe McMandaFoo wants pokemon with moves THEY like, instead of "OH no, you can't have that move it isn't one of the most powerful ones it can have!!!" |

hypnosis can be very good on a pokemon which doesnt mind taking a couple of hits. eg milotic - who cares if it takes 2 or 3 tries if you can just recover straight away. besides with 60% accuracy it is more likely to hit than miss. |

Its also good with gardy, to safely power up. I wouldn't reccomend, though, that you use an attack that depends on sleep, ie nightmare or dream eater. |

hypnoises a very good move with good combos.i recomend raising accuracy b4 using it tho. |

Try the x accuracy item or just use a good move forgot which one it is. |
