wow i just noticed that the move thunder is wrongly named. thunder is the sound, lightning is the actual damaging part. yeah but i guess thunder sounds cooler than lightning. w/e just weird i thought

What is the point of your reply? :roll: The idea is that when you use the attack a big bolt of lightening strikes the opponent, so youre not USING thunder - thunder is just the sound that is made when the lightening strikes the opponent. it would be like changing "tackle" to "bang" because thats the sound thats made when you tackle someone. or changing the name of every fighting attack to "pow". _________________ everything you will ever need to know is in my sig. |

Hehe, explouds soundproof ability negated thunder!

The other alternative would've been calling it "Thunderstorm", the only cool sounding alternative. But yeah, "Soundproof blocks Thunder" would result in one ticked-off Raichu/Electivire/Kyogre (what, he can use his weather to bigger advantage). Yeah, that would be one thing to see.
Then Soundproof would become the new Wonder Guard!!  Eat that, ubers.
