I found a possible combo for Clefable. Don't laugh, I'm really thinking on this one. But it's next to (if not) impossible to get the moves since both I'm interested in are Egg moves from different parents in different groups.

THE IDEA
is able to learn both Wish and Belly Drum, which is awesome because you can Wish and then use Belly Drum in the next turn to max attack, while Wish restores the HP lost by Belly Drum.

THE PROBLEM
I can't quite figure out how to get both moves on the same Cleffa.
I know that the chain for Belly Drum is:
LV UP >BREED >BREED
But Cleffa/Clefairy/Clefable are the only ones in this set who can learn Wish.
And the egg move parents for Wish are:
etc. The bad thing is that none of them can learn Belly Drum...

Anyone have advice, or should I give up on this idea?

Whew, this one is quite complicated, and this one is interesting. Which one is the parent? 's family is a fairy-family, look at the egg families list.

I can hatch a Cleffa with Belly Drum and I can hatch another one with Wish, but I can't figure out how to get one with both.

You can't get both moves unless there's a Pokemon that can learn one of the moves by level-up and the other by breeding, and you can then transfer both moves by breeding onto a compatible Pokemon.

Check out the Moveset Search in the TechDex to see if there's a way, but I don't think there is.

EDIT: I just checked the TechDex entries for Wish and Belly Drum, and there's no way for any Pokemon to know both moves except , using Sketch. No other Pokemon can learn both moves.

Wellp. Glad I didn't start an extensive breeding program.

It's such a usable combo too.

Somehow I knew it would fall through.
