I really did believe this is the best place to post it. If I'm wrong, I'm sorry.
Anyway, Ihaven't gotten DP yet for I dn't own a DS, but I was looking at the new evolved forms, and got sad. Dunphan, which is an elephant, is no where nears as large as an elephant should be. Alot of pokemon got cool, brand new evolved forms, but I was wondering why they couldn't do a Dunphan evolved form?
Think about it, it could actually be big, like how elephants truly are, and continue the rock type. Since it's a discussion, share your thoughts on it. Dunphan is one of my top pokes, because Elephants are my favorite animal. For this topic, I'll get someone to fuse a Dunphan and a... mamoswine? That looks like it shouldof become some sort of elephant type poke, even though it's a pig thing.

If you mean Donphan, it didn't really need an evo, in my opinion.
Also, I recommend asking a Sunyshore Market shopkeeper for the fusion.
While a Donphan could have used an evolution, I don't think it needed one. But then, GF thought Rhydon did.

Here's some stuff Saint Jimmy did up for me. They're not perfect, but they open up windows. Right?

I can't imagine anything bigger than donphan would be able really to follow the 'rollout pokemon' pattern; I can't imagine a full ized elephant pokemon rolling about like that without looking completely ridiculous.

I don't think Donphan needs an evolution.
As IX said: A pokémon as big as a real elephant rolling about... That just doesn't seem right.

That's just it though, the rollout would be huge, and very powerfull. Maybe when it evolves, and you still have rollout, it changes to a new attack, like rollslam or something that's a roll attack but MUCH stronger.

I guess Dophan's kinda more like a calve with a rugged body then... and I'm not sure I could stand an evolution of Donphan, either.
Come to think of it, I remember that the family can learn Rollout...

Rollout doesn't need more power. it's already the most powerful move in the game with Ice Ball.
Mamoswine could potentially be evolution to Donphan... Elephants and Mammoths are still not far way from each other. but Donphan already has one of the best supportive movepools in the game + Good defensive stats. If you enchange those, this would be top Ou Garchomp counter in the game. (Ice Shard anyone?)

Mamoswine is a SWINE< pig family. That's why they needed a mamoth like evelution for Donphan, or even just make him bigger evelution keeping with the rock type. I don't believe rollout is the strongest in the game BTW, If Donphan was so good, people would use him more. I'm in the middle of leveling up mine right now in all my games, but still.

With Rollouts increasing power, level 3. Shuckle can OHKO lv. 10 Steelix with Rollout. I think it is the most powerful move in the game.

No one uses Donphan? Is that why he's OU?
Anyway, I don't think we need an evolution of Donphan. Donphan already has good stats for an evolved pokemon (unless Nintendo wants to make another Rhyperior). Honestly, we don't need it.
