Ok, so just how much (would you estimate) you have spent on Pokemon. Ever. Just wondering how much of an 'obsession' it is for some, and how easily it fits into your lifestyle. Did you waste hundreds, THOUSANDS of dollars on cards or cartridges? Or did it come cheap and it's but a small part of your financial empire? Discuss!

I, personally, spent a LOT (lot lot lot) of money on Pokemon. I collected the cards (up untill about 2004, sort of after the Legendary set). I used to play the game with friends, but of course it dropped out of popularity, and I didn't like the new cards. This was about age 14/15, and so I 'grew' out of the card game but still played the RPG's. Do tell your stories too, don't just be like, "OMG yeah I've spent lots lolzord!". Talk!

I have Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, Crystal, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald (I bought this twice since I lost one, the other one was off eBay for €60), Diamond, Pearl, Pokemon Ranger, Pokemon Dash, the TCG game for game boy colour, I'm getting Platinum and I'm sure there's more.

(Some of the above were bought by others for me, but I'm going to count everything.)

When I was small, my dad would get me the stickers instaed of money. That's a lot of stickers.

I also used to buy Pokemon tatoos.

I used to collect the TCG cards for about two years. D:

And I have a Pikachu teddy, a togepi that makes noise when you walk into the room, and I have a Pokemon magazine that I used to read about two years ago. It was expensive, like, €7 and I got about... 30? D:

So...

~€540 for games.
~€300 on the TCG
~€100-200 for stickers
~€10 for the stickers.
~€210 for the magazine.

So that's €1160 D:.

That's a lot like me! I recently lost my Pearl cartridge (on an unrelated topic), which had all my Diamond team on (for training), so am now lost Pokemon-wise... but yeah most money of mine spent on cards, not the games, but still have them all except for blue, gold and crystal...

I bought a few pokemon sweets and magazines when I was younger, so that's like £5.
Personally I bought Sapphire, Emerald and Diamond which are around £30 each.
Oh I also bought Pokemon Mystery Dungeon (which sucked), around £30.

£125. Not amazing really.

I have bought FireRed, G/S and GBC (Still working, bought from my brother), And Pearl. That is 40 €, 30€ (GBC), and 40€ for Firered. Total of 110 €, so about 130 - 150 dollars.

I put $500-$1000 because I have a ton of stuff but i don't know where a lot of it is. I had hundreds of Pokemon cards I have a lot of games, movies/tv episodes, and I have toys.
