This is my first post here, since I can't seem to post this to any other section. I'll get into the topic anyway. So guys, have you read or heard Pokemon Adventures? Also known as Pokemon Special, it is a game-based manga. It has a great story and plots, in a more darker tone. Nevertheless, it one of the best Pokemon manga out there. So I highly encourage you to read this manga. It will be an awesome experience for any Pokemon fan out there!

A game-based manga means a manga that follows the plot of the game.

I've been reading some of this online. It's pretty decent. Actually before reading this I wanted to draw up a series of comics that were similar to the plot of this, but since I've read it I don't need to anymore.

Anyone who hasn't already should google "read pokemon adventures online," you'll be pleasantly surprised. :) Pretty much, it's what the anime should've been, it's been thought out all very well. Red is actually extremely likable (Gold is a different story though...) and it's nothing you'd expect. eg: GYM LEADER SHOCKS!!

Dude, I haven't actually read anything but those 2 let's say comics as I read them out of sheer interest at the public library when I actually use to go there anyway, funny thing is that I actually still have that last comic for the RGBY Pokemon Adventures tucked away in my closet seeing as I don't need to take it back to the library or anything anymore...As good as it is I was left with questions like what happened to Ninetales during the match, did it get defeated or what? Questions like that, not that Important though...also, wth did you quote it twice I will never understand...

Heh. Found the manga online alright. Took me a couple of pages and some head-scratching before I remembered that a book that was originally Japanese would be read from right to left! :D Once I started following the panels that way it made a lot more sense!

[Edit to add:] But then I went on to Chapt. 2. It changed to reading from left to right! ROFL. Hmmm... wonder if it'll switch back in Chapt. 3?
