Post Connection between Wii and DS?
I have Mario Kart DS.
My friend has Mario Kart wii

Both of us have broadband and wifi internet. Can we connect to each other, and if so, how? (no, I don't mean local within 10 feet - I mean 10-15 miles away)

The earliest Mario Kart Wii is out is in April; specifically, April 10th in Japan. Therefore, I would suggest your friend does not have Mario Kart Wii.

Back to your question, Mario Kart DS is a completely different game from Mario Kart Wii, so of course they wouldn't be compatible at all.

Again, they are different games. The only Wii-DS connectivity there's been so far is letting you use the DS as a controller like with Pokemon Battle Revolution.

Damn, that really sucks. So the only ones are pokemon diamond/pearl connecting to pbr. kk, no problem.
