Hey yall i just went to see the bridge to terebithia last night I really didnt know if it was good or bad i was eating candy the whole time :laughing:

Not as good as the book. In my opinion. Some stuff was confusing, and the trailers led you on like it was a fantasy movie. It wasnt...sans the last 10 minutes of the film. No. Was my answer. =D.

I never saw the movie. I read the book though in fourth grade. I wanted to see it though because people kept saying I look like the girl in that.

Actually thats bad, it says in the book that the girl looks like tomboy. [no offense]

I've never seen it, but I heard that the trailer had absolutly nothing to do with the book. So it probably sucked.

3.I didn't think it was such a big deal to revive a post, I mean what's so bad about recontinuing an old conversation? Ok I'm new to this forum. I'm not new to forum's in general though and in all the other one's I'm a part of there isn't anything wrong with trying to revive a dead topic.
4. The Star Wars post, all I was trying to say was that George Lucas isn't making anymore movies.

There's nothing wrong with looking like a 'Tomboy' anyway.

My friend really wanted me to go and see this movie with her because apparently we studied the book in school. It was only 4 years ago but I don't remember it, apart from one particular part.
We didn't end up see the film though as she said she heard that it was rubbish and now I've read previous posts on here, I don't think I'll be renting it out anytime soon.

its stupid. she dies halfway through the movie, all of the dragonfly warriors and crap is just their imagination. were they on drugs!? i think its the stupidest movie ever. what are they teaching kids? THE KID HAS A CRUSH ON HIS TEACHER and vice versa.

Ditto to that! I couldn't have said it better myself. When I saw the trailers for the movie I thought it would be like The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardorbe. Man was I wrong. Imagination is something important, but that movie goes over does it.

I realllllllly liked it. I watched it on the aeroplane. I actually liked that it wasn't all FANTASY ELVES TALKING FISH PIXIES, and I thought it was an accurate depiction of childhood grief. The acting, in my opinion, was surprisingly good, too. SO YEAH I LIKED IT AND I CRIED WHEN SHE DIED THERE I SAID IT.

p.s. I've met the actress who played the girl.

BAD! BAD! BAD! BAD! Worst movie ever! It was so childish and stupid, all the trailers made it look so much better. I guess it'd be a good movie for a family with smaller children but otherwise... terrible!
