actually, 1 day & 16 hours > a day. in case you didn't know. why not just put some good games instead of trying and failing to be smart? |

How 'bout shut up and stop flaming, KOL40? Just because no one posts in "1 day and 16 hours" doesn't mean no one will post at all. Patience is an important virtue. And just to make sure you don't open up that mouth of yours again, here: (These games are decent to good IMO) Tony Hawk's Proving Ground Ultimate Mortal Kombat Sonic Rush Adventure The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass Chibi-Robo: Park Patrol |

I agree, less than 2 days doesn't warrant a bump, but I'm kind of surprised nobody posted. Telling him to shut up is a bit much though, he didn't flame anybody. He just asked 2x4b for an on-topic reply (which he should have given him instead of backseat modding). Anyway, here are some pretty good games: Final Fantasy III Final Fantasy IV (it's not out yet, but I guarantee it'll be great ) Animal Crossing Wild World Super Mario 64 DS Mario Kart DS Sonic Rush |

I like; Super Mario 64 DS New Super Mario Bros. 9I think that is what it is called.) Mario Kart Diamond/Pearl Phantom Hourglass Sonic Rush And I heard that new Wario game was good... |

I'll continue to add with the Mario Kart DS, as that is pure awesomeness. What else? Education: Try Brain Age (2). It will help make you more accepting to new facts and really activate your memory. Do you like fishing? Super Black Bass is awesome - they had a GBA one, so I was a bit skeptical on buying it (despite loving it). However, the touch screen allows for so much more to it! Also, I heard pretty good review on castlevania, thinking of getting that for channukah |

All of the Mario games are particularly good. Another one that is really fun is Puzzle Quest. It doesn't look like its much fun but I actually had a blast playing it =D. Was introduced to it by the Penny Arcade guys. I've got a little cousin who loves Nintendogs |

Rowol wrote: I've got a little cousin who loves Nintendogs I actually considered getting it, but several people (a guy at Gamestop, Draggy, Lapras [I think]) all said that once you got over the "cuteness factor", it was boring. Somewhat like Pokemon contests was all that was left. |

Yeah I wouldn't buy it. I don't look down on it for its cuteness factor, there are a bunch of fun games that are very "cute" (Animal Crossing, Harvest Moon, etc). What I saw in it was a lack of depth. |

Speaking of cute, I'm currently playing an RPG on the DS called Magical Starsign, and it seems pretty good. The idea of planetary alignment is interesting, while the gameplay is pretty much like any classic RPG. |

Just picked up Kirby Squeak Squad, and it's a fun game so far. Feels like a classic platformer, like Yoshi's Island DS. |

I can whole heartedly recommend: Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin (really shows off what the DS can do with gorgeous sprites and hand drawn backgrouns, but a fairly standard Castlevania title. Has 2 characters you can switch between on the fly.) Custom Robo Arena (really slow to start, but great online) Drawn to Life (fairly straight forward platformer, except you get to draw elements in the game like your character and weapons) Lunar Knights (sequel to the Boktai series on the GBA, way less stealth involved, more action) Mario Kart DS (dur) Mega Man ZX (an open Mega Man world kinda like Metroid) Metroid Prime Pinball (surprisingly deep pinball game) Puzzle Quest (bejeweled meets a fantasy rpg) Warioware Touched! (more microgame madness, of course this time utilizing the DS's touch screen and microphone capacities) I'm currently hooked on Chibi Robo: Park Patrol, very cute; but a very thorough experience. Games I'm looking forward to playing next: Dementium: The Ward Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass Luminous Arc Mega Man Star Force Mega Man ZX Advent Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations Rune Factory Sonic Rush Adventure Yeah, quite a list and those are just the games that are out that I need to play. Contra 4, Mario Party DS, Warhammer 40K: Sqaud Command, and Geometry Wars: Galaxies are aright around the corner. Hopefully this upcoming holiday season will give me a chance to catch up. I HIGHLY WARN AGAINST: Harvest Moon DS (just plain rubbish) Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales (started slow, got even more repetitive once the card game became involved) MySims (awful, very easy to not know what's going on and not know what your next goal is, from what I've read the Wii version is 1,000x better) |

P3T3Y wrote: Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations Get Ace Attorney first. The Phoenix Wright games are incredibly storyline-oriented, so you should play them like you read series of books. Most people have recommended all the good games that I've played for the DS, so I don't have much to add. Mario Kart is great for multiplayer, New Super Mario Bros. is good fun, and the single-cart multiplayer is oddly addictive. O_o I'm crap at Castlevania, but it's a pretty fun game nonetheless. Mario and Luigi DS was good, but I lost the game and I can't find it again. Krisp wrote: Final Fantasy IV DS wtf krisp actually AGREEING with me about a Final Fantasy game? |

Phoenix Wright. All of them. Right now, all of them. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Justice for All Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Trials and Tribulations Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney (February 2008) I have the first three, and they honestly amused me to no end. The stories are fascinating, the game play is unique and interesting, and they're also really funny. I'm not usually humored during games so it was kind of nice. Oh yeah, this goes for anyone: DON'T BUY THE NINTENDO DS BROWSER. It's really no good, it's good for maybe the first 5 minutes of LOL I CAN GO ON INTERNET WITH MA DS. But you can't watch videos, images load EXTREMELY SLOW, and load times are ridiculous. I think it was mentioned earlier, but Mega Man ZX is really fun. I've just got to beat Serpent, but I can't. |

Picross is pretty challenging. I agree with Mega Man, that series rules. Any FF game is great. |
