Have you recently listen to an old song that you thought was a new song? ever now and then I here a new (well to me) song that i look up and find out it was 2 years old.
And rarely do I listen to a song that i think its new and its actually 5+ Years
I heard a M.I.A. song last year and bought the albulm and see that the copyright is actually from 2005 and then the end of last year she releases another albulm.
Then there is some bachata (spanish) songs I hear and find out its about 8 years old.

Yeah that happened to me alot last year. Like there's a band called "Mushroomhead" anyways I heard one of there songs and went around singing it like a dummy, then to find out it came out in '99 and I was telling everyone how it just came out.
Also I was listening to a band called Drowning Pool and I thought the song I was listening to was all new, THE FREAKIN LEAD VOCAL ISN'T EVEN ALIVE ANYMORE!!.I felt like a dumbass when I asked my friend julio if he had heard this cool new song before....

I was wathing CMT and I heard a song called "If you se him/If you see her", a duet by Brooks and Dunn and Reba McEntire. I thought it was on her new CD, "Reba Duets". When I got it, I listened to the song(It was only labeled "Reba and Brooks and Dunn"). It turned out to be a different song. I looked up the song, and it turned out that it had been released in 1995.
I felt really stupid after that.
