I normally don't attack my games when I get pissed at them, so I've been able to keep my DS and PS2, among others, in great condition for the past too many years. My brother, on the other hand, is a different story. He's not medically diagnosed with any disease, but he has some sort of problem. The breaking video games is only an example. He will continuously pound his fist as hard as possible on his Wii or whatever he's using, hoping that that will fix his game over? He ofter smashes controllers against systems and chucks handhelds across the room. He recently broke open a UMD case to a PSP game, 100% deliberate. He does play my systems occasionally, but he knows from experience that if he decides to take his anger out on my stuff, the pain will be dealt back to him tenfold.

The left side of my DS's touchpad is a little screwy, but I don't know if that's from pushing on it, or if it just came like that, but I've never really broken anything.

Oh yeah, someone left an old laptop under a rocking chair, and the screen got cracked, but I don't think that was me.

I have never broke a sysytem but I have lost one. I had four of my DS games get washed and dried but they survived because the plastic case around them.

I have dropped my DS Lite and it has a crack on the plastic on the opposite side of where the power lights are. I stuck it under my arm one day trying to get into my house and my dog jumped on me and I dropped it.

I can't ever recall a time that I broke a system. I was with Crosman one time though when he threw his PS2 out the window. It was pretty epic.

I have, on many occasions, broken a controller. Either by rage, or just for the hell of it. That's the beauty of collecting a pile of controllers.

I'm a bit more careful with my games and systems. However, one of my friends somehow managed to close the car door on his GBA SP screen. He still uses it, although only half the screen works now...

I spilled water on my PS2, but that was about it. I recently broke two Gamecube controllers by slamming them on the ground. I hardly ever throw controllers though; that just happened to be a bad week.

I eat on my laptop and sometimes the keys are hard to press because of the food. My SP has a very hard time charging and it takes a very long time to charge fully. I cracked the screen of my MP3 player and lost its battery case.


EDIT: OH and I used to chew on the DS stylus until it broke.

When it comes to games and electronics, I am VERY careful about what I do with them. The only bad things that has happened to my games is having my DS slapped out of my hands making it fall on concrete, my DS falling into the mud, and that's about it. I own an Orange GC Mad Cats controller. It still works but you have to use it on a certain angle. Not having it on the right angle can have it screw up and have it not be read. I usually just smash hard on the ground and you can hear something small jiggle around inside it.

Oh and my old PS1 Dualshock controllers stop working because of my 2 younger siblings many years ago......

Well, I have broken them, but they were never badly damaged enough that I couldn't play them.
One example was when I was really young, playing Mario and Pokemon on my GBA. Sometimes I'd chew on the corner in frustration. The teeth marks are still there now.
Also there was a time I accidently dropped my DS lite and the right corner with the power lights blew off.
Luckily my Warrenty hadn't expired yet, and I got a new one for free.

My GameBoy Colour broke because of a reason unknown to me it just slooowly died, I'm sure it switches on but the games won't work. Other than that I can't think of any. I do shout at consoles when I get mad but I won't throw them. If I'm that peed off, I'll hit the crap around me.

I've only broken one video game-related thing before, and that was Resident Evil 2. The discs were scratched beyond repair, and I decided to take a bat to them. Looking back, that was kinda blasphemous as RE2 is the best game in the series, in my opinion D:

It stopped working for no reason. So I gave it a reason to stop working.

My parents were cheap. I was lucky to get any video games, so I took excellent care of them.
But one time my sister dropped the Super Nintendo down the stairs. I was pissed, but despite 5-8 large cracks in the casing it still works perfectly to this day.

While on the topic of smashing systems...

Did you guys see the episode of Mind of Mencia where they break a Nintendo 64?

Or the episode of X-Play where they abused a PS2, Xbox, and a Gamecube to see which was the most durable?
(afer a 10 ft fall and being smashed with a hammer PS2 broke right away, Xbox CD tray broke second, Cube still worked)

1.my ds broke in half from being played a little too much(costed 50 but they gave me a new a new warrenty and touch screen)

Yeah, i had two DS one of them broke cause the top screen broke. the other one broke cause it kept turning off by itself. I have a new Ds hope this one does not break.
