I am getting a Nintendo DS Lite soon and since I am a Yu-Gi-Oh! fan,I am stuck whether to buy Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2008,Yu-Gi-Oh! GX: Spirit Caller or Yu-Gi-Oh! Nightmare Troubadour. Can anyone help me to choose?

No idea about those games, but if you want a good Yu-Gi-Oh game, try this one.

when i buy a Yu-Gi-Oh game i look for the 1 with the most game play so it would take me awhile to finsh it!!

and if it takes you awhile to finsh it you could buy another Yu-Gi-Oh game!
without your parents telling you "you already bought a game similar to that 1"

Get the most recent: 2008 championship I believe. I always get the most recent ones, if I bought the games anymore. I play with the actual cards more often than before, so I don't really use the video games.

From my "Stupid Insults" thread, where people tell eachother how people insulted them in a hilariously stupid manner, how ironic!

Spirit Caller is the newer version of Nightmare Troubadour (minor enhancements, I believe, I've only played Spirit Caller)...if you're familiar w/the series of games then you know the differences between the Championship games and the others...but in case you aren't, the Championships are normally the kind of 'hardcore' straight battles, no frills kind of games...the other games, especially Nightmare Troubadour & Spirit Caller are more like the GBA game Yu-Gi-Oh! GX: Duel Academy (go figure) or even Yu-Gi-Oh! 7 Trials to Glory: World Championship Tournament 2005 (the first GBA one), in that you'll go around places challenging people to battles & once in a while getting involved in story elements.

Personally, I like the GX Academy-style gameplay, since it adds a bit more (and since I can't use the multi-player functions of either versions anyways I need something more to take my mind off of that fact...)...But if you just want to get to battles & deck construction then the Championship version is probably more up your alley...

The story of Spirit Caller takes longer to play through than Nightmare Troubadour. Spirit Caller also has harder duelists that Nightmare Troubadour. I have no idea about the other one.
