Has anyone read any books that, like, no one else has read? Or really weird, crazy books that are funny but at the same time are so random you want to burn them (not that I'd ever burn a book...)? If so, Post here!
Ummm.....two of them come to my mind. Un Lun Dun by China Mieville, and The 13 and a half lives of Captain Bluebear by Walter Moers.

Yeah, Animorphs. I read it when I was like, eight. It's about these people who can turn into animals by touching them or something. They get some weird distress call, and have to go underwater. They want to be dolphins, but the girl says that dolphins are too delicate to take their DNA. It's a really weird book.
So is "The Yuckee Prince". I read very random books when I was younger.
I'm sure if Vulpine sees this, he'll have something to say...

Oooh. Animorphs.
I find it equally unusual.
Don't they have a guy called Ax who's a cinnamon bun addict?
Wow.

I have no idea. D:
I only read the last one I think. I can't really remember it; but if they do, it just proves my point. D:

I thought Animorphs was pretty popular once. Weird, yes, but probably less so for that no-one-else-has part =p
Yeah, Aximili-Esgarouth-Isthill is a cinnamon bun addict. He's the only Andalite in the Animorphs' team.

Oh so many....
I spent 90% of my time in the library during my school years 'cause I was a big girl who's obesity fueled the hatefulness of others, so I got to read lots of weird books!
Like, "Understanding Cats", a book about behavior and what not of cats.... and I read a similar book about chickens...
and there was that book about a Dragon queen that somehow teamed up with a young Asian boy to save her kingdom.... the only part I really remember is that the queen got wounded and the boy rubbed salt from a dried-up ocean into her wounds.
And then there was a book about a Thief that was just awesome...
And my first (and last) Vampire book called "Silver Kiss". (I hate vampires, not 'cause that book... just 'cause they're lame...)
And Golden Compass. The book is 100x better then the crap-hole movie....
But the most Recent odd-books I've read are The Zombie Survival guide, the Zen of Zombies, Carrie, Misery, The Shining and A Dirty Job; all, of which, are highly recommended!

For me it's the Wizard of Rondo by Emily Rodda. Her other books are better though, the Deltora Quest. As well as Rowan of Rin..

Well, on the "Books you've read but nobody else you know has", I'd have to say 'Doctor Rat' by William Kotzwinkle (I love that guy's last name. If I recall right, he's the guy who wrote E.T.).
For the pure "???" factor, I have a few books that teach you how to curse in other languages. Nobody else I know has read them.
Wahaha.

I read a book last year. "Crosses" written by Shelly Stoehr. I doubt anyone has read it. Basically it's about these two girls who cut themselves, do drugs, and get into trouble. At the end they do shrooms and the one girl falls out of a window and dies. It's actually a sad part, and an overall great book.

The book entitled Yuckee Prince is really weird for me. I forgot the author as well as the reason why it was written in the first place.

The MYTH Inc. books by Robert Asprin, Lirael, Locadio's Apprentice, and Merlin's Mistake are just a few... at least nobody at my school seems to have read them.

Some of Timothy Zahn's books are weird and crazy, and I know a few other people that've read them. The scenerios are weird, but when I start reading a book I can't put it down like I did with Gone with the Wind, a good book.
I've also read a few Star Wars books that were like 100 pages long and really stupid, where the clima is on the second-to-last page and the story just stops.
What about Faces of Fire, anyone read that? It's a weird and emo Star Trek book.
