I**** Infection
The idea of Infection is cool (and has done well in other shooters), but it does not translate well for Halo... at all. It turns into a campfest for the humans, whittling down to "how long can all the humans stay in one spot and snipe every infected player with pistols and slaughter up close with the shotgun". It's a bit fun when the humans roam the map (safe havens variant tries to do this, but fails), but pretty much everyone camps the same locations. Not to mention the decision of who gets to be on what team is not always fair (I've played where I was zombie every round, even when I did well).
And as Taji said, everyone seems enamored with it , and it almost always wins majority vote. This makes doing Rumble Pit really unfavorable for me, so I just end up doing Big Team Battle or Team Slayer.
