As an American, I'm pretty upset that USA lost to Japan but Japan did a really good job and now their country has something to cheer about. And it's not all dark and gloomy for the USA. They're tied with Germany for most women's world cups (2) and have the most olympic gold medals for women's soccer (3) and they have amazing players that will definitely improve such as Hope Solo and Alex Morgan, so with a bit more hard work I think USA can breka the dead lock and win their 3rd world cup in 2015 Canada (it helps that we'll be closer to home). So whata re your thoughts on this tournament?

I watched some of the womens world cup when it was on and I was quite surprised at how good the quality of football was. I was supporting England and I thought they were really unlucky to go out in the quarters considering they had to play extra time with basically 10 (wo)men because one of the players was injured. The england had to go to penalties and then everyone knows what happens there when theyve considered past history...
So I think the future of womens football is bright
