Surprised there isn't already a thread for it.

So, Phoenix is the main character once again, regaining his lawyerhood after the ending of Apollo Justice.
That kinda bums me out. I'll admit that my initial reaction to Apollo Justice included things like, "Why is Phoenix a hobo? Where did Gumshoe go?" But then I got over it and was ready to accept that Phoenix's story was over and it was time for some new blood. Which made it all the more disappointing when Phoenix wouldn't go away... So I was very eager for a sequel that would let Apollo grow into his own shoes, but it looks like that won't be happening just yet. But I guess I should be happy the game is coming to the US at all (Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney
still hasn't been confirmed for that).
Incidentally, I'd say Phoenix's new design looks perfect for if, say, he were going to become a lawyer again and serve as Apollo's boss at Wright & Co., remaining a non-playable character with not enough free time on his hands to actually tell you what to do. Like Mia, but you know, not dead.
