I've recently uncovered a detective/crime novel series by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child about a mysterious FBI agent who can seemingly solve any case, even when they become bizarre and strange. It is extremely imaginative and a phenomenal storyline for anyone looking to read outside the ordinary, and get hooked. I personally recommend the Special Agent Pendergast series to any other bibliophiles out there.
