Wartortle finally made it to town and laid Domenic down next to the Pokemon Center. Nurse Joy was just walking in from reporting to the Stadium checkin station when she spotted the unconscious Domenic. "Oh my!"she said and whisked him into the center where she found him n empty bed.

Domenic woke up to see a smiling Nurse Joy and a still-tearful Wartortle. He hugged the turtle pokemon and whispered that it would be alright. "Glad to see your recovery is going well. They called your name on the announcements for the matchups and the first one will begin soon."

"What!?" Domenic jumped out of the bed, only to find that he was in a smock and underwear. "Where are my clothes!?" The blushing Nurse Joy pointed at the folded clothes on the nearby chair. Domenic ignored her modesty and began putting on his pants. Nurse Joy pleaded. "Please sir, don't go yet. You haven't fully recovered!" "I won't miss this for anything. Thank you for all you have done but I need to geeeet to the stadium now!" He was struggling to put on his pants and fell on the ground. Nurse Joy gasped. "Are you-" "Yeah yeah, I'm fine." He regained his balance and tugged his head threw his shirt hole. "See you soon! Hopefully not too soon!" He waved goodbye, as did Wartortle while they ran out the door toward the Colosseum.

"I don't even know who I am versing! Great job Dom, great job..."

Elliot

Domenic rushed by, shoving his torso into a t-shirt, his Wartortle close behind. Elliot had been purposely waiting for him out of sight, wanting to know what the guy's problem was.

"Samantha Jameson's your partner, she's a Celadon native, good strategist I've heard," he called out from his position leaning against the wall, arms folded, "you're fighting Yokou and some guy called Andrew Turner. I think he's from Cianwood, got a few badges in Johto." Elliot looked at Domenic, wondering if he would burst into another egotistical rant.

OOC: Hopefully not; your character's outburst from last time came out of nowhere and was totally unfounded. I was a little confused when I wrote Elliot's reaction. =/

OOC: The outburst was from him thinking you chickened out of finishing a battle. His arrogance showed when he didn't apologize for coming to the wrong conclusion. He didn't want to look foolish.

IC: "What? You again!" He thought through what Elliot had said. "Why are you telling me this?" Wartortle gave a look at Elliot and muttered something under his breathe. Apparently it was something naughty because Domenic shoved his elbow into Wartortle, telling him to shut his mouth.

Elliot

Elliot walked forward to Domenic: "I'm telling you because I'd hate to see a good trainer miss a battle tournament."

Domenic looked at him.

"I saw you with your Feebas." Elliot said, the respect in his voice coming through underneath his pride, "I'm from Hoenn, and I know how rare those Pokémon are. Anyone with a Feebas is clearly a great trainer." he looked away, having swallowed his pride in order to make amends. "And being a trainer myself, I know how much it would irritate you to miss out on such a rare oppurtunity."

Elliot looked around, making sure no one was around to hear what he was about to say.

"Plus I was hanging around to apologize for slugging you, but you apparently got on the wrong side of someone with a temper worse than mine." he laughed quietly.

"What happened to you, bikers from Cycling Road?"

Domenic just stared with a blank face, but his eyes were wide. He showed shock if one could say he showed anything at all. Wartortle seemed to be doing the same. "I caught a Whiscash," was what Domenic finally got out of his mouth. He still hadn't blinked yet. "I suppose I need to apologize as well. I said I had mistook you for alot of things, and I guess I still am. I'm sorry." He hung his head.

It shot back up with a smile. Something unexpected to say the least. "Well, thanks-but I gotta run!" He shook his hand with great force then continued to sprint to the Colosseum. "Pick up the pace Wartortle!" The Wartortle was starting to fall behind. Then it doubled its effort and began running ahead of Domenic. "Hey ok wait up!" The disappeared over a hill.

Lania thanked the three proffessors greatly.

"I'll take great care of her" she said as she walked away from the starter tent. The eevee purred in her arms and fell asleep.

"How cute..." she thought. She then returned it to it's pokeball, and sat down on a hill, overlooking the advanced trainers preparing for their upcoming battles.

"Jacob is my partner eh? wonder if he has some type combonations that would go good with mine... JACOB?! he yelled everywhere searching for him. "JACOB?!?"

Domenic finally made it to the Colosseum and found where the trainers were sent to wait. Now what was her name again? Samantha? Wartortle was gasping for air. Domenic decided to go to the roster and check out the names and pictures of the other trainers here.

OOC: Joshua and Anson Hook are partners, Kiki and Jacob are partners.

OOC: (Yokou eh? I'm gonna have to work on my communication skills then)

IC: "Wait... was it jacob or joshua? i think it was joshua actually.... Joshua?"

((Soorry, power went out adn the server was down all day))

Jimmy looked closely at the sheet. "So...it looks like I'm paired up with 'Tom'. I should go meet up with him and find out what he uses." Jimmy decided to look at the roster to check for an I.D. "I really need to find this guy before we begin..." Jimmy frantically gathered his pokemon into their balls and but them neatly back into his guitar.

"What...I swear I signed up for the Double Battle Tournament...Maybe there was an oversight..." Solano said. He then remembered a piece of business he had to take care of.

He rushed over to the Pokemon Center, and accessed the PC. Doing so, he withdrew 2 Pokemon, a Gardevoir and an Aerodactyl. He released and hugged them both, happy that he was with some of his other favorite Pokemon. He then returned to the square.

So in case anyone asks, these are the movesets (as it stands currently):

Tom was looking for his partner. He was bsitting on Absol's back when... "I NEED 4 Pokemon!" he was thinking through his boxes when he remembered about Dragonite. He went to his Box and bumped into a guy putting Pokeballs into a guitar after he got Dragonite.

"eh... i'll find him sooner or later." he saw some movement in a large patch of grass. what was that? he rushed over and found a skarmory. "GO SHINX! here take this!" anson gave shinx the thunder TM. "NOW USE YOUR THUNDER!" "Shinx!!!!!!" the thunder blasted down from the sky and hit the skarmory with a mighty krack! "GO! Great-ball! the ball rolled around for a bit and then stopped. "yes!" he took his newly caught skarmory and put it on his belt along with dratini, shinx, and the disobedeint ralts. he went into town to buy some TMs

Alarmed, Jimmy jumped, dropping his 3 pokeballs onto the ground. Upon picking them up he turned to see who the person was. He studied the boy for a moment or two before realizing it. "ahhh, you must be Tom. You looked a bit taller in your picture." Jimmy said jokingly. "Nice to meet ya! I was just about to go and get my fourth pokemon."

Joshua listened to the announcement, and then heard someone yelling Joshua. He followed the voice and met up with the person.

"I'm guessing your Anson? Well, you could have met me at the battle area instead of making a scene..." He said, rubbing his head after seeing Anson catch a Skarmory.

"We better hurry. I don't want to be disqualified." Joshua said walking in the direction of the battle area.

uhh... ya sure.. just give me a few seconds, i need to buy something. anson ran over to a big building and bought a lot of TM's. "ok. lets go." he released dratini and taught it a bunch of moves from TM's and did the same for his other 2 pokemon. when they got there he gave the TMs to ralts through the poke-ball. "there! i will be unstoppable with my brains! i have the perfect strategy! what pokemon do you have josh? is it all right if i call you josh?"

At the entrance, Candy and I were waiting for the other trainers to come. Candy was now calm, and in the perfect mood to battle. I smiled, and took out a few TM's that Birch had instructed me to give to Candy. He told me that they would help. I smiled, and gave them to her.

"Partnered with a guy named Elliot..." Solano said. "Guess I'll find out who he is soon enough."

Solano took his four Pokemon and made his way over to the stadium. He was still uncomfortable due to the huge crowd, but he tried not to let it show. And he did quite well at it.

OOC: Treeckomaster, if you're not willing to put the effort in to read other people's posts - especially mine - and you've yet again tried to manifest a powerful Pokémon out of no where, perhaps you shouldn't be involved in this RP.

I have already told you that you can't have your "forgotten" Sceptile, another post you apparently haven't read. And suddenly remembering that Dragonite you have in the PC? Equally preposterous and unfair.

Though I don't have any power within these forums, I do have a degree of authority within this thread; so consider yourself on probation, if you want to remain a part of this RP; shape up.

((Sorry, I really need to wear my glasses. All the Avatars are looking to similar. I know I'm making excuses but this is some heat. 33 degrees C and you may be able to see the reason on why my attention is decreasing.))

OOC: And I exhaust myself every day at work (as do many people), doing six people's jobs on my own because we are currently short staffed; I don't use it as an excuse not to make an effort with something I committed to. I'm sorry Treeckomaster, but you're not reading even the Game Master's posts, surely you can see my problem here. If you really did want to be a part of this, please make a concious effort to read at least what I say. If you have anything else to say, PM it to me.
