If all of this is true, then this is one of those "sucks to be you" moments for the people whose discs were fried

The reason the 360 runs so hot is not the laser. It's your standard issue disk-reading laser. Doesn't run any hotter. It's the power consumption and the CPU/HSF unit.

The power supply on the 360 is massive. It's pumping in an incredible amount of electricity. Electricity makes things hot. CPUs get hot, because there's lot of electricy running through them. My CPU right now is running at 42

After hearing all this I cant be bothered to get an Xbox 360, I shall just stick with what I said first, NINTENDO REVOLUTION!!! Cant wait for it, the controller looks awsome. You wave it around while playing Zelda and Link slices his sword. OMFG T3H N00BY B3ST - Geek gamer talk... Whole different language to me.

I like the PS3 better then the Revolution and 360, but I would pick the 360 over the Revolution. I cant wait for the PS3 to come out!

That's interesting,you think they are so cool butin my opinion it will be a think that will have gamers not getting it.The only reason I would get the Revolution is so that I could kepp my title as"Nintendo Freak".So I'm going to have to say out of the three systems I would get PS3.My main motive of getting the Revolution was because they said they were only going to release it on that system,but know that I know that Zelda will also come out on Gamecube,it will lower my chances of buying it.I still will buy it though.

yep im buying the revolution pretty much the same as latios's reason, getting it for zelda and the new SSBM and maybe some pokemon games if they make any.

So your buying it only because your a Nintendo fan to.I most likely will be getting it but since Zelda TP coming out on GC also I might change my mind.

is there a release date for the PS3 because ive looked all over the internet and all i can find is they will be lossing money on each console because of the new thingy blue ray (the laser that reads the disc will be blue not red now) and my friend said in one of his magazines it said they might be changeing the control, its not that bad but it does look like a boomarang.

I'm wondering if I should post this news in this topic, since it has something to do with the PS3, but I might as well in case someone hasn't heard.

They're releasing the PS3 in Nov? instead of sometime this spring. I believe they said it was because they need to make sure they don't end up with the same problems as the XBOX 360. I didn't exactly catch all of the info, but that was as much as I could watch.

If I remember correctly, the delay is to continue working on the copy protection for the the Blu-Ray discs the PS3 uses.

Cool mockup of Wii..... It kicks Butt!

Since I didn't see a post that says someone else has been watching E3, I guess I'll be the bearer of bad news, er, when it comes to the PS3's price tag.

You'll been warned. Like the Xbox 360, it comes in 2 prices: $500 for a -if I remember correctly- 20 GB hard drive and a massive $600 for a 60 GB hard drive!

I'll keep watching and see if it's really worth selling a house over.

FW Edit: Changed the HD sizes to their actual numbers. R2 had 10 GB and 20 GB as the respective HD sizes originally.

I like nintendo and all but the nintendo revolution won't stand up to the PS3 atall and did they have to nick name it Wii.

imo, PS3 won't stand up to Xbox360 either.

Er, what's with hard drives on PS3's and X360's...? Are they like new computers or something? (Oh, I feel like such a n00b...)

Hopefully, I'll get a Wii soon after they come out, and afterwards, I'd like to get a PS3, if it has a good game or two for it. I'm not getting an Xbox360. imo, Xbox is overrated, and the Halo games are just making it worse.
