Collector edwin calling in emerald:

theres a few i really like.

someone in the battle arena - before battle: "crush you like an egg". after battle: "too tough to crush". (why would you want to crush an egg??)

someone else in the battle arena - after battle: "you are going to a legend". (his bad grammar not mine!)

someone in fire red: "hi. i like shorts. theyre comfortable and easy to wear." something like that.......

Yeah, apprentices are fun. I told my first apprentice to say "Excuse me but muk is invincible"

I told one of my apprentices to say "i am oblivious to flatter". Not that fun, but it really sounds like an "official" battle frontier saying.

And yeah, I got a gentleman as my apprentice. When he should get a phrase, his own suggestion was "I am a substitute for grandfather"

Some trainer in the Battle Frontier: "I SWALLOW SLUDGE TO TRANSFORM MYSELF"...0.o

In an instance in the anime, I forget which episode, I believe Team Rocket says, "We'll be comin' 'round the mountain when we crash! We'll be comin' 'round the mountain when we crash!" It is a bit funny.

Yeah. Beat him and he will say something about getting acid armor, lose against him and he will say "I HAVE A GROWTH OF SUCTION CUPS"

This one guy in pacidiflog (is that how you spell it?) asks where you came from, and the chioces are "yes" and "no". if you say yes, he will reply: "yes town? i've never heard of that place." or something like that. if you say no, he will reply: "no? you're not from anywhere? or are you from the bottom of the sea?" or something like that.

Nothing beats the classic Pewter Gym trainer, "You're light years away from facing Brock!". And afterwards, "Light years is a measure of distance! Not time!"

One of my favorites is in the episode when Ash catches Muk (an old episode now, kanto season) It also had magnemite in it. When Misty realized they were being followed, Ash said "Hmm... It must be a streaker!" then Brock and Misty have strange faces, and Brock corrects him with "Ash! You mean a stalker!"

I still remember that line after all this time ^^;

The other youngster, near the one that cuddles says.

"What's wrong with you ? Why are you not wearing shorts?"

thats right! i love that one!! there are a lot of funny things in mystery dungeon too.

now, what is all this talk about apprentices in the battle frontier? i dont think i ever saw that.

Inside the Battle Tower, there is a person standing near a computer on the left side (or somewhere around there) that will act like a huge fan of you. He/she will ask you a question daily about Pokemon or Item usage and will eventually end with a question over what they should say, and you can choose what they say. After that, you can keep getting new apprentices see them in the Tower to battle with/against.

ok thats very interesting. so you get to see them in action, using your own suggested remarks? i wonder if there is a way of using something like this in the battle factory. after all it is supposed to be a test of your "intelligence", so maybe there is a way to guarantee you will win there....

One of my favorites is on Pokemon Coloseum when in the Pyrite Town Challenge he says you cant beat me not in a million years after he says wow a million years has passed

There's a juggler in RBY who says "My balls have just dropped" or something similar to that effect. Although it's not that funny, I find it intriguing that the game designers would stick in a quote that when read the wrong way means something a little innapropriate for young fans.

I dont get the thing about shorts.

Actually, he says "Oops, i just dropped my balls!"

here's one that doesnt make alot of sense to me. some guy in the BF when you beat him says "your rock head come to shine".

and the most infuriating was when i lost after getting 32 battles into the battle factory. the guy said:

WAHAHAHAHA WAHAHAHAHA
WAHAHAHAHA WAHAHAHAHA !

There is a triathlete running around the BF that says:
"I AM GOING TO BE A MOTHER." When I beat her she said:
"I AM TOO HAPPY TO BE SAD!"

My favorite (or at least one that stuck out) was a trainer halfway between fortree and lilycove who says "....................Wanna battle?" but the games certainly have some real 'winners' better than that in them.

Yeah, and there is a male triathlete saying "I AM GOING TO BE A FATHER"

In the video games when you defeat a certain Juggler he says,"Oops! Dropped my balls!"

I caught Latios on emerald. I walked up about five steps and talked to collector edwin:
"Have you caught any rare pokemon?"

the thing with the shorts(im dumbing it down): What's wrong with you?why aren't you wearing any shorts somthin in tha bf: i am going to explode or somthin

one thing i always found funny was how the pokemon centers tell you they hope to see you again.

the only time people use them, aside for pcs, is when their pokemon are hurt. its like saying "we hope your pokemon get injured again!"




and SAIRAM, youngters wear shorts, and they think anyone who doesnt is an idiot. thats what the thing about shorts is.

One of the freakiest match calls ever:

Hello! I'm curently at route 112.. in other words, where i always am.
Today, a gorgeous swimmer swam by, so i startled her with a shout. She gave me a nasty glare. Thats the news from route 112!

I'm not which route it was, i said 112 just so you could get the message without disturbing things like "[cantrememberthenumber]"
