I like it :D

Still quite vulnerable though. A single turn with Hail or Sandstorm and... well, you get the picture. But we can test it out too.

Note to WPM: So which ones do you reckon should be added to the Hall of Fame? None? Just the Scizor?

Here is one for Genger:

Gengar @ Leftovers
Calm|252 SP. Attack/252 Speed/6 HP

Giga Drain
Thunderbolt
Psychic
Taunt

Taunt first, Then sweep with Giga Drain/ThunderBolt/Psychic. That way you will be safe from Calm Minding Psychic Types. EVs are split in a way that you get a Speed boost allowing you to quickly Sweep. I thought this would be a difference since most Gengar sets are uasually Toxi-Trapping sets.

Sorry, steinerrecliner, that's pretty much Gengar's standard set. The Gardevoir's a little too close to home, as well.

And I'm thrilled that the testing went well. Lickitung, Dodrio, and Scizor will be added to the Hall of Fame.

Okay. Looks like I'm not doing too good but I'm going to give it another shot:

Image

Sleep Talk
Mud Sport
Calm Mind
Dynamic Punch

Tell me how this looks. It's certainly not something I'd normally do on a Slowking.

I'll give it a try:

{zigzagoon} Female @ Quick Claw | Pickup | Jolly Nature
252 Speed - 252 Attack - 6 HP

- Belly drum
- Substitute
- Return/Extremespeed
- Attract

I think this is a nice starter. If the foe is male, attract him. Then use Belly drum. Then sub, take possible damage and start returnin/extremespeedin. This will knock down alot.

MTUUTSUU: A couple of problems . . . first of all, Sleep Talk and no Rest? Second of all, Slowking's lackluster Attack. 273 isn't bad, but it's not good. Third of all, your moveset has two moves that require good Attack to work, one of which I would recommend against because of it's poor accuracy. Sorry, M, but this one's a miss. But keep trying; you should have seen some of the crappy sets I came up with in my head before we had this thread. No one takes to it at first.

CLESS: It pains me to inform you that if you evolve Zigzagoon and add a "/Covet" on Substitute, you've just listed Linoone's standard set.

Switching Sub with Covet will result into a whole different battle imo. But probably you're right. I still don't see any advantages of using Covet though :D

{swellow} @ Leichi
Guts / Adament
EV's = 252 Speed; 252 Attack; 6 HP
Moves:
Substitute
Aerial Ace
Endeavor
Steel Wing

Sub until Leichi is activated and use Endeavor. Then just hack away. I doubt it's much off the standard, and I've never actually trained a Swellow.

That's a good set tiger, yet not quite creative enough. Sorry.

Nice attempt, though.

Well my Dodrio did better than I expected, so I thought I'd give it another go.

{latias} @ Lefties
252 HP, 252 Def, 6 Speed
~Wish/Recover
~Roar
~Toxic
~Psychic (Max PP)

Roar and Toxic away, then Psychic them to death, and use Wish/Recover as needed.

I had one similiar to that, S_S. It worked well.

{latias}@Lefties
~Wish
~Recover
~Toxic
~Refresh

1st: Use Toxic
2nd:Use Wish
3rd:Use Recover

At the end of every other turn you recover all of your HP. I don't S_S's needs to be tested, but maybe change Psychic to refresh. Works well.

Well then I have another one.

{kangaskhan} @ Lefties | Adamant
252 Def, 252 Sp. Def, 6 Speed
~Wish
~Roar
~Toxic
~Body Slam

Toxic then Roar, Wish to heal, Body Slam if you ever feel like attacking.

Present
Aromatherepy
Water Pulse
Rain Dance

I'd use this. Start with Rain Dance, then Water Pulse, then Present and whenever my Party is suffering I'd use Aromatherepy. It might not be creative, I'm no expert, but it'd use it.

Papersun, on the "Hall-of-Fame" you put Drill Peck/Sub/Rest, when it should be Drill Peck/Sub/Roar since Rest is already one of the attacks. Also, I want to fix it up a bit, lets make it...

~Roar
~Toxic
~Substitute
~Rest

Sub, then Toxic and Roar, and when Sub takes you down, Rest. Then repeat.

I got rid of Attract since it's a 50/50 shot due to gender, plus only 50% of the time it works, like confusion, sometimes they can still attack even though they are still under that status.

How about a moveset for a {farfetch'd} ? It's so UU it's not even funny.

{farfetch'd}@Salac
~Endure
~Flail
~Swords Dance/Agility
~Foresight(if that's possible)/Aerial Ace/Steel Wing/Return

Stat up or foresight until you think your opponant will attack, then endure. Gain salac's affect, then Flail and if your alive, sweep. Swords dance is preffered.

What do you think?

I've tried that once, and I couldn't think of anything. My point is, just wait for the inspiration to come to you; don't go looking for it, it's way too elusive sometimes :D

Good luck.

Anyway, I like the Farfetched', but still testing needs to be done. What if you use Endure, the opponent doesn't KO you, then next turn your Endure fails, and your opponent hits you, and hits you hard? You gotta think about that.

That's why you charge with swords dance before hand. Charge until you have about 1/3 or 1/4 of your health left, then endure. Still you bring up a good point.

EDIT: I got another set, for another UU pokemon again.

{qwilfish}@Leichi
Brave/252 Attack, 129 Sp. Def, 129 Def
~Swords Dance
~Sludge Bomb
~Shadow Ball
~Revenge

On his movesets page, it says he has a special sweeping set, but he has almost twice as much base attck. Brave to make revenge hit last.
