Me and my brother are having a debate on which final form of Totodile and Mudkip is better. 1st in looks, 2nd in Stats, 3rd in general awesomness. Let the voting commence, by the way I picked Feraligatr.

In looks, I say Feraligatr because he looks so awesome and intimidating. And his name means "Feral alligator", which he captures very well. Swampert just looks... Odd. (Definately Feraligatr!)
In stats, Swampert is a brutal earth shaking aquatic tank. Almost like Quagsire on steroids. Feraligatr has lower stats then Swampert, and lacks the ground type that Swampert uses to set up devastating earthquakes. (Swampert has left Feraligatr's battle appearance shaken)
In general awesomeness, Feraligatr looks cool, would fit an intimidate ability perfectly, and eats his opponents for lunch. Swampert looks funny, but rocks the battlefield with Earthquake, is immune to electricity, and gets to create mudslides. (God.... They're both equal)

i agree, i alwasy choose fire types but if i had to get a water id have to get swampert.... i have to have the best to battle. but i chose ferligator cause it just seems better in every other way hahhaa. so i vote ferliagator even though id take swampert.

Swampert for sure, while Feraligator may look slightly cooler, Swapert wins in stats. Plus, it gets a STABed earthquake and is immune to electricity.

I'd have to go Swampert. Feraligator preevo scares me. Why's he wearing an egg? What's enderneath that he has to hide? Why would I want to know?. Bedides, Ferligator looks like someone took random parts of his body and made some bigger some smaller. Plus, Swampert slays eletrics with STABed earthquake and resistance agaisnt electric.

Swampert wins all of your catagories, Necro. All of them. Feraligatr craps it's pants at the sight of Swampert, since Swampert could easily take it out with a Cursepurt moveset to block it's Physical Attacks from doing any measurable degree of damage.
And then Earthquake happens.
"Your FERALIGATR has fainted!"

i would choose Swampert ( i chose him in Emerald), not because of that but because to me it just looks cooler than Feraligatr, Swampert is a freakin' frog thats immune to thunder plus he gets bonus on Earthquake, and his stats are awesome...so Swampert would pwn Feraligatr...yeah...

It's not very effective...
Feraligatr used Hydro Pump! (average effect)

Even with STAB it wouldn't OHKO Swampert. Considering Feraligatr's base special attack is lower than its attack and that Swampert is also a Water type it would do no significant damage.
