Charcoal raises Fire moves by 1.1x right? Why, then, does Charcoal sell for $4900, when the other 1.1x items sell for $50?

rarer than the other 1.1x items, you mean? It is true you can only get one in Ruby...but you can buy them in Game Corner in FRLG.

What about Black Glasses, Hard Stone, Soft Sand, Magnet, Mystic Water, Mevermeltice, Sea Incence, Silk Scarf, and Miracle Seed? You get those rather easily as well. Anyway, that is the price that you buy it for in Azalea Town in GSC, so maybe that has something to do with it. _________________  |

No No No! It's not becuase of Rarity, its becuase Fire Types are just Awesome, and Game Freak Knows it, charcoal being more valuble is just a little clue.
