How do i catch {Heatran} i tried and tried and everytime i tried he got out of the ball i used the following pokeballs: Heal,dusk,ultra,and repeat.I know that some of them would not work because they are for different things but,i didnt have any more pokeballs to use,i used my master ball on palkia and i bet that was a stupid move by me.

Yes... using your master ball on Palkia was a very bad idea :roll: (I caught Dialga with 1 quick ball)

For pokémon in caves (like Heatran) use dusk balls... buy 99 (at least 50) or you will almost certainly run out... Save just before you battle, and reset if you run out of balls... For the highest chance of catching it, use false swipe to get it onto 1 HP, and then paralyze/sleep it

Change your DS time so it's night and use Dusk balls, worked for me.

For me he was easy to catch.

same as Heatran - get its HP in the low red, put it to sleep or paralyze it, and throw Dusk Balls. You could also try Timer Balls, as the longer the battle lasts, the more effective they become.

Ummmm..... You're in a cave, and even at night it isn't going to get any darker in a cave. And since you're in a cave a Dusk Ball works at its best.

Best thing to do is buy alot of Dusk Balls and some Timer Balls. Weaken it as far as you can then throw Dusk Balls. If the Dusk Balls fail then use Timer Balls. It should stay in at one point.

I know I just have some real dumb idea that it'll have a 2x catch rate than what it has when only in a cave.

Well... just so you know that there is no difference when using a Dusk Ball in a cave during the day and using one on the grass at night. Since this is about Heatran (and it's in a cave), then the Dusk Ball will have the same effect all day round.

i think it has a catch rate of 3, so obviously catching it is no easy feat.

your best bet: just stock on plenty of ultra balls, timer balls, and dusk balls, bring a good pokémon with a decent sleep move and another good pokémon with false swipe, and hope that bugger gets what it deserves!

i wuz there while he tried to catch hetran and he is a little money deprives to get many pokeballs so he just need a one balll tactic besides luck or masterball
