Personally, my favorite was the championship match in the Orange Islands league. Drake was the man and that battle just sticks out in my head as the all time best.

Charizard vs Entei, definately.
Battles that could've been improved:
roflMewtwo vs. Mew. Blue and pink flying hamster balls for the lose. :/
Lucario vs. Houndoomx3 would've been better if it was longer. But it was okay how it ended up, because it wasn't met to be the main focus.

I like the pokemon league battles. I didn't like the kanto ones that much because they were to short. In johto i liked when he battled Gary and Harrison. In hoen i liked when he battled Morrison and Tyson.

My favourite battle was probably Ash's battle against Tyson, but I can only briefly remember it as I don't really watch the anime. Ash VS Richie was alright, but could've been improved.

Any battle in which ash lost
He lost waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too few times
reaaly, how many times has he lost?
He won when he shoulda lost
he shoulda lost to morrison if he hadnt lost his will to fight for 5 mins
im glad he lost 2 tyson but it shoulda been in the semis
And anyway he acts so stupid when he loses

I don't watch it enough to have many good scenes in my head, but I like the battle between Dragonite and Charizard. There is more to it... I think. Dang this memory.

Ash vs. Harrison was a good battle. Its frustrating though that Ash always loses in the tournaments. He never gets to the finals & we never see the E4 or the champ battle.

All of the Ash vs. Gary matches have been good. For some reason I liked the one when Gary won using his Eevee against Pikachu the best. Maybe it's because it was odd for Gary to have a Pokemon like Eevee, he usually has evolved Pokemon.
I also thought the Drake vs. Ash battle was great too. Dragonite was a beast!

I'll have to go with Gary vs. Ash in the Johto League tourney. Ash coming back from a 3-1 pokemon disadvantage was something I didn't see coming when I first saw it.
I also liked the final Battle Frontier battle, when Ash FINALLY got all the symbols.
