Have you read the book? Watched the Disney movie? What are your thoughts about it? Did you like it or hate it?

Wow, I didn't know there was a book! I did watch the Disney movie though, and it's one of my favorites. I like the story, but I'm not a fan of any of the characters (I don't even like Djali, Esmeralda's goat, and I'm usually a fan of animals sidekicks) except for Clopin and, uh, the priest. Topsy Turvy and Bells of Notre Dame are, by far, the best songs in the movie. I think it was interesting that Frollo, the villain, was actually in love with Esmeralda; it's not something you see very frequently in a Disney animation.

The movie was inspired in Victor Hugo's book, Notre Dame de Paris.

It is not a childrens book and it's around one thousand pages long. Trust me, I've read it, and it's almost nothing like the movie
