Look, the main reason why Darkrai is stronger is because of Dark Void. That alone is enough to end this debate as to which of the two is stronger. Any Pokemon, however powerful, is useless so long as it can't attack at all. That is what Darkrai is capable of, making other Pokemon helpless.

The basic argument about Dialga not being able to make mistakes, being invulnerable, all-knowing and possibly having an eternal life, is more than enough to end the debate of why Dialga should be better than Palkia in reality. Palkia can't do anything to Dialga in reality. All it can do is hide in another dimension to escape Dialga's Wrath. Perhaps Dialga can't hit Palkia cos it's hiding in another dimension, but know this, the one who can't show itself to the other in a battle is Palkia. Not Dialga. Dialga has no reason to fear, but Palkia has every reason to.

Ah, but of course, Paalkia can launch attacks through dimensions, and Dialga could not fire back.

Maybe the "Divine Aura" or something like that make they immune to each other powers...
So neither of their powers work on another poké-deity (Arceus/Giratina/Shaymin ) ...

Yeah, I'm with Bushin on this one. Maybe that's why they're fighting all the time, since neither of them ever wins, and one can't exist without the other (maybe that's why they're tied o.O). It's like if Goku is tied with Vegeta. They'd battle forever.

In the movie, Dialga injures Palkia and Palkia flees to another dimension and Dialga looks pissed. The deity of space took refuge in Alamos, the setting, and transports the city from the mountains to some random dimension, so they were closed off from the world. Then Dialga finds Palkia and the brawl commences again. In the movie, Palkia's ability (space) had a more crucial role. I mean, the place was pretty much evaporating into pink/purple dust, whereas Dialga's mastery over time made a few clocks speed up. -_- Okay, so both of their signature moves were going to cause the place to completely collapse, so *maybe* it took the work of both of them to wreak havoc. In the end, Palkia restored everything to its proper place, not Dialga. He just calmed down and flew off.

Lols at Shaymin. Cute? Yes. Rare? Yes. Deity? No, not to me it isn't, unless it has a truely amazing ability. Btw, doesn't he looks like a chia pet? Ch-ch-ch-chia. XD

I did suggest the theory of them being immune to each other's special abilities, but no one seemed to agree with it. Again, based on the anime, was fleeing from , meaning was most likely weaker, and had thus no chance but to flee or get eradicated. Everything will eventually pass into time, which is why the wielder of time gets the last laugh. If given a choice, would you choose to wield the power of time, or the power of space? Most people would choose time I believe, cos it's a better power to have.

Anyways,Palkia,Arceus, and Dialga have a huge advantage over other legendaries, they can just make it so that they don't exist. The only one that might be able to survive is Celebi, since it can manipulate time just like Dialga. As for in game, Darkrai is almost unstobbable, but Palkia, Dialga, and Arceus can still beat it. By the way, R_R, you're doing a great job, and congratulations on becoming a mod.

Bulk Up is one set and that is also based on attacking, as any Dragon Attack will kill it tough (It gets OHKOed by +6 Life Orb Rayquazas Outrage(Well maybe that was bit extreme)). Also tell me one competively great player that uses Palkia instead of Lugia or Blissey as a wall.

Sleep Clause still gives Darkrai one more turn. If Giratina comes in, just Taunt it.

Dark will hit many Ubers Supereffective, And it's only resisted by Dialga or Typed Arceus.
Dakrai gets OHKOed almost any attack in Ubers. It can survive maybe Blisseys Ice beam but otherwise almost any Uber level attack will kill it.

By Uber level I mean, that it won't have the power to OHKO many opponents. Usually 150 is the level of Uber level Attack. 180 is too Uber. Defenses and Hp this limit goes by 120. Almost all pokemon without special abilities (Darkrai, Mew, Manaphy, Wobb) carry these amount of stats.

Palkia outspeeds Dialga, Weather trio, can Outspeed Modest Lati@s, Giratina, Ho-oh and Deoxys-D + Cuties. That's abouthalf of Ubers. Only Lugia, Darkrai, Mewtwo and Deoxyxses + +speed Lati@s will outspeed it. It can tie with Cuties.

Kyogre maxes it potent allowing Palkia to 2HKO Blissey with Aqua tail, and making him generally stronger.

Well, I prefer Darkrai over Palkia, since you don't have to think out a strategy unless you battle your weaknesses. I think Darkrai is a little easier to use in battle. I've got an event one, who totally owns my friends Lv75 Palkia. I do have a Palkia that I use occasionally, though.

Darkrai because he was my first lv. 100 in PMD2 (ironically, Palkia followed) and Darkrai is great especially once you attended the event for the Roar of time/Spacial Rend Darkrai

Darkrai becomes super good with Spacial Rend, just like you said. Roar of Time isn't that great on it though, bacuse Darkrai is all about speed, and Roar of Time makes it rest.
