It's not so great,you can see it coming from a mile away...
It's completelly destructed by status,residual damage and prediction.

I wouldn't mind this pokemon if there wasn't such thing as a Yache Berry but now we have ANOTHER Dragon Psuedo-Legendary who is better than both Salamence or Dragonite, but there is more: with this Yache Berry, Garchomp can reduce damage from another weakness meaning the only pokemon that can really damage Garchomp are really fast ice pokemon (try and find an ice pokemon that can outrun and outpower Garchomp even with a yache berry) a pokemon with very high attack (Slaking: two slow and hits once every two turns)(Legendaries: Restricted in nearly all competitive games)(Other dragon types: Are they both faster and stronger than garchomp?)

The only way to beat Garchomp is to have a garchomp yourself but surely that would mean every single competitive team will have a Garchomp with the same ol moveset:

Nature: Adamant/Jolly,
Item: Yache Berry

And yes i don't use Garchomp because it is found in the majority of teams.

Swords Dance
Earthquake
Outrage/ Dragonclaw
Fire Fang

How many non legendary pokemon does it take for you to take out a Garchomp with this moveset? How many teams have you fought against with a Garchomp like this? and compare this number with the total number of battle you've had where no legendaries are allowed?

I don't even use Garchomp because everyone is using one nowadays with the same moveset.

How do people not like Giratina? He's so far the only Gen IV pokemon that I like.

But yes, I do not want Nosepass, and his evolution. They are creepy, ugly, and convinced me that pokemon was going down the drain, if not there already.

Geez, you guys should stop taking it out on those lil' rats. They might suck like hell in both battles and HMs, but you see, in DP Raticate is very common, and I use it for Speed EV Training.

I don't care for Spiritomb. Not like we need another "no weakness" Pokemon anyway.

But it's a better tanking version of Saybleye. :K
