Rest in peace, may god be with this awesome programming block. I'm sad it's gone; it was a very big part of my childhood. But, in a way, I'm glad. Now it can't be dragged through the sh*t pile anymore. Its last dying breaths were Naruto, One Piece, Zatch Bell, all of which were very painful last breaths (those shows suck. hard.)
I remember when I was a kid, and being introduced to T.O.M. When I saw that farewell video, I thought "jesus christ T.O.M. what have they done to you". (...seriously, he looked NORMAL last time I saw him).
I do believe this thread is a bit of a waste on THIS forum, because most of the kids here were born around the same time Toonami first aired.

Unless there's two Toonamis, I think it's still going.
I have it, except it's called "Cartoon Network Too".

I know, but still. Toonami had so many good shows it wasn't funny. Outlaw Star, Rurouni Kenshin, YuYu Hakusho, heck even when I was 11 and they aired Hamtaro I thought Toonami was awesome. It's a shame to see it all go.

But I mean, it's still airing.
Or do you mean it's gone as in there's stupid shows on it now? Or because it got renamed? Or is it actually gone?
I think I still have it.

In the US it's gone. Not sure about other countries.

R.I.P. Tom1, Tom2, and Tom3. Tom4, go to hell.
The memories, the memories... thanks for introducing me to animu, Tom. A lot of my current interests stem from your original line ups, so I owe you much.
Anyone else remember how epic The Intruder series was? I remember watching every day to see what would happen next. And when Tom got stuck in the elevator with it... I almost cried when Sara went "Tom...Tom...?". ;_; But then he came out as the kick-ass Tom2.
Ah, good times... but yeah, like Krisp, I am also glad that they've put it out of its misery. The Toonami of today made me feel ashamed to hear it called Toonami. All that could've saved it was Tom3 coming down and killing Tom4, then installing good shows in the lineup.

I used to watch Toonami constantly when they had stuff like YuYu Hakusho, Rurouni Kenshin, and Tenchi airing. I stopped watching as the lineups began sucking, and I wasn't even aware that they changed Tom until a few months ago (I didn't know whether to laugh or cry). RIP, thanks for the entertainment.

I loved Toonami. I actually don't remember the shows I watched. If my memory is good though, I think some I watched were Zoids (loved it and miss it now), DBZ, and Dragon Ball.
I never really got into the new ones. No Tom was better than the first though...

While those reatards at CN said 'It was merging' they got rid of all the great stuff on there. They destroyed and got rid of all the animes and good shows.
Or at least that's what happened here in England.

i only remember the short fat one and the one that looked like a biker. don't remember the other two. but still toonami rocked so much! i was tempted to assasinate the CN execs to get revenge for the toms.

I watched Toonami when I was small. Only watching the Dragon Ball series and sometimes Bo-BoBo(Don't blame me, I was little and had an imagination) and other shows mentioned earlier. I knew it had to die someday but not 'this' early in paticular.
