The moment I saw this thread, I instantly thought "Sunflora. That's the one I ALWAYS forget about."

stfu frost, qwilfish is adorable and awesome in every single way

i would say (after browsing the psydex for a while) that dewgong would be the winner if it werent for frost (lol actually going to seafoam islands until you wanted articuno), but because of that i have to say corphish and crawdaunt. Seriously, how hard are they to get. You have to use rods in obscure places to get them - petalburg, rt. 102, rt. 117 (albiet 117 has the breeding center), and celestic. Seriously, how many times have you said "Hm, I think I'll go fish next door to Cynthia's grandma, then maybe learn about the legends of sinnoh"? Hell, how many of you even knew there was water in celestic?

I dont count ash having a corphish in the anime as being notable because lol people watching the anime

For me, I'd say Stantler.
I mean, hwat?!?!? Tis a deer that hypnotizes. Very plain for a pokemon without any really super special characteristics. It's normal even for a pokemon. (haha)

is reasonably cool, but I always forget that it comes from a pinecone... until I see Pineco and think "Oh, that's right. This thing exists..."

I say . Doesn't have the unique typing of 'wrath, and the movepool is lacking for a water type. I've never actually trained one, just evolved a few for the Pokedex, in GSC and DP.

prob sunkern, i just can't keep that one in my head, it just does not click!
either that or Kingdra, they are impossible to get without FR and the scale, but you rarely see one in abttle either.

Pineco, Fortress, Qwilfish, Politoed, Relicanth, Castform, and Sunkern.

i just about agree with him.
But Relicanth's Battle Tower usage has broken his forgetful ness. Every fifth person has one and it always has Liechi Berry, Amnesia, Ancientpower, and Surf the last move is unknown, cause i KO it before then.

I always forget Masquerain. Also, I tend to forget not fully evolved Pokemon because I spend a lot of time with competitive battling.

Electrode.

I can remember every singe other pokemon(including voltorb) just fine, but damnit electrode, you just aren't memorable.

Even though I adore Beldum and Metagross, Metang just always slips my mind. Same with

Gible and Garchomp are fine, just not Gabite.

Masquerain. I can never remember this one, probably because I would never use it.

Heh... the one's I find forgettable are Ariados, Furret, and Lanturn. (All johto)

I think johto pokemon are forgotten because we don't have a 3/4 gen game for that, and the pokemon are sort of outclassed by the newer ones...

And we all remember magikarp because it's just plain terrible, but it actually holds the record for highest lv wild pokemon and it evolves into gyarados so it is remembered pretty well.

Ho ho ho, anyone who got excited when they were handed an old rod and fished out the splash-happy result will never forget the infamous Magikarp.
