Oh, it was just in reference to your question about Gym specific rules. I said basically I'll think about your rule you asked me about and I'd address the issue much more seriously once we actually get up and going in the next few months.

Yeah, I completely understand where you're coming from, but I can't just say I'll allow it especially since it's something leaders should be prepared for. Just know I'm mulling it over; I haven't come to an actual verdict yet.

I might just give out something rare and simple, like Phiones.

I'm liking the idea of just breeding a Pokemon from your team, but the problem arises with the decision of which one? I think it would be best to breed your best/most valuable Pokemon on your team for others. Like look at my team; is anyone really going to want a Nidoran? No, they'd want a shiny Ralts seeing as my Gardevoir is my rarest Pokemon on my primary team. That won't happen, so I'll be passing out Beldums or something. We could also leave it up to challengers if you guys want to do that. For those of us who have more than 1 team we'll be using off and on (I now have 5 full teams), just use one of the Pokemon from the team you just used.

Any comments on or objections to this?

well, I recently checked the IVs of my metagross and discovered it had 31 in both attack and defense o_o everything else is decent, too. so, I suppose I could give my metagross the power bracer and breed it to guarantee a 31 attack IV beldum to give out? or, if Emin is gonna do beldums, all my team has at least one stat that has a 31 IV, so I could hand out something else. a 31 sp. attack IV abra or something. oh, and there's still no wifi but I'm in georgia at the moment XD the hotel's wifi won't let me connect with my DS, a 20100 error or something, don't remember the exact number. sigh. oh, and I said nashville, but I was wrong, it was georgia. lol. they moved the wedding. anywho.

@Ryder: I wasn't, like, determined to give out Beldums, that was just a thought since my other Pokes are somewhat less-than-amazing.

@TheKid: You make a good point; if we have full rosters challengers could just pick one of those.

Then there's the issue of some leaders who have only 6 Pokemon and some of us who have way more than that. I don't know if that would actually pose any kind of problem, but I'm just trying to think this through. And I don't think it's going to be completely necessary for everyone to promise perfect IV prizes. If you've got them, excercise it. But some of us cannot do that (Diamond doesn't transfer IVs with power items), and so I don't think Leaders should advertise that. We can think about this once we actually get to that point in time.

For now, I need test battles to happen! Chef has contacted me, but I'm pretty sure he's the only one in a while. I'm working on something for EoI, so he's just waiting on me. Other than that, I don't remember anyone asking to battle. elementotrl may have, but I'm sorry if I haven't checked my past messages in a while.

You guys who have already test battled can help me out immensely but just posting when you read this to remind me. Just say that you battled; nothing complex. Easy +1 to your post count, if that's any incentive (I know some of you are post whores...I was when I started).

@Mektar: Thanks. I remember that one. Also, if it isn't too much trouble, could I ask you to post the badges on each page? It's hard for me to backtrack and find it every time I need to. It would probably helpful if we could edit them into the first post, but then changes would never get noticed each time. It would just help me out a lot.

@elementotrl: Sure, if no one else already has that theme. And for Charizard and Gyarados, I'ma have to say no unless they have dragon-esque movesets. Like Dragon Pulse, Dragon Claw, Dragon Rage, etc. Some of those moves need to be there. P.S. Dragon Dance doesn't quite count all the way. And remember, I encourage you to do something quirky/just plain weird. Those are much more fun to train, trust me!

Edit: Keep the badge the same, but I'm switching over to pokemon that know levitate/ have wings in order to give me a broader range of pokemon, otherwise i'm stuck with only 5 possible pokemon...

dragon pokemon, elemtotrl? altaria, dragonite, salamence, garchomp (if its not banned, gabite if it is), flygon, charizard (with dragon claw if its a physical attacker, dragon pulse if its a sp. attacker), gyarados (just keep twister or dragon rage, or teach it dragon pulse or beg emin to allow it because its obviously a dragon even tho it doesnt learn many dragon moves and isnt dragon typed XD)

5 of those Pokemon are 4x weak against Ice-type attacks. Gaqrchomp is banned, btw, as it's Uber. And by your reasoning of Gyarados, Sudowoodo should be allowed in Grass Gyms because it's obviously a tree.
And I'm not against you using Gyarados, I'm merely saying you shoulc make it more Dragon-esque to fit with your theme. Otherwise, it's just a Water Pokemon that looks kinda like it should be a Dragon one. Plus, he says he's changing his theme anyway.
