On March 29, 2011, 4Kids was sued for making deals with other companies, such as Funimation, on the show known as Yugioh. TV Tokyo and NAS sued 4Kids for making deals with other companies without giving some of the money from the deals to TV Tokyo which violates the original contract. Sometime in April, 4Kids filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in order to stay in business. On May 1, 2012 4Kids sold its rights to Yugioh to KidsCo Media Ventures LLC for about $10 million. From what I've heard is that KidsCo doesn't do business in the United States. What I want to know is what do you think about this. As for where I got this information, I was looking through a Wikipedia acticle about 4Kids and in one of the sections mentioned a Yugioh lawsuit. I noticed that not many people knew about this so I decided to spread the word. If I got any information wrong or missing please notify me either in this topic or PM me. As for my opinion I think that this signals a bad sign for North American Yugioh fans and this is a bad decision but what other choice did they have? They needed the money to get out of bankruptcy. Anyways what do you think about it and why. You may choose up to 2 answers.
